The False Prophet
2 Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
There will, in the end times, be a world wide religion that will proclaim the Beast (anti- Christ) to be a god. The head of this movement to worship the Beast, and his Image, will appear to be a lamb (christian) but speak as a dragon (satan). This is the product of the 'falling away' of the churches from the true worship of GOD. Over time satan will so corrupt the church that those of the true Church (the Body of Christ) will not be welcome within their sanctuaries. This can be seen today in the movement toward ecumenical cooperation and inclusion of other religions as equal to Christianity.
The World Council of Churches has begun to open and close their meetings with 'inclusive' prayers in the name of ancient female deities, not in the name of Christ. Some denominations have proclaimed all world religions to be equal to Christianity. Many churches have fell into new age and pagan practices in the guise of 'New style Worship Services'. Bible Scholars, such as those involved in the Jesus Project, have proclaimed the Bible to be corrupt, and the miracles, including the resurrection, to be no more than myth. The falling away has begun.
As mainline churches become more and more 'inclusive' of non-christians they are becoming more and more intolerant of true Born Again Believers. We are being called mean spirited, prejudiced, fanatical, cultic, the list goes on and on. Those who stand for Christ are standing in the way of their plans for a single world religion that denies GOD and raises man ( and soon the man of sin) to the level of a god. The UN is getting in on the act by starting a Ministry of Religion to promote this New Religion of the New World Order.
The False Prophet will lead this new religion of inclusion and guide it into a new religion of domination. An Image of the Beast will be formed and all will worship this icon and receive a mark on their hand or forehead or else they will be totally excluded from society and eventually hunted down and killed. The Beast will be proclaimed god, and Christ, His Church, and His Two Witnesses as the enemies to peace.
