Persecution and Tribulation
It takes on many forms in the life of every believer. There is the constant mocking by unbelievers, the intrusion of the worldly culture into our daily lives, and to thousands around the world the real threat of imprisonment, torture and even death. This is a series of messages on persecution in it's many forms. Many of us forget, or are simply unaware of, the great suffering of our brothers and sisters around the world. We are blessed with the freedom to worship here in the U. S. A., a privilage many do not enjoy in their home countries. But even here in the 'nation under GOD' we are often under seige spiritually if not physically. Jesus said we would be persecuted and suffer tribulation, it is part of the call. If we are not being attacked physically then the attack will come in other ways, but it will come. "Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets." Luke 6:26
