Rapture
1 Th 4:16 For the Lord himself
shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ
shall rise first:
1 Th 4:17 Then we which are alive
and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the
Lord.
1 Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one
another with these words.
Lately the Holy Spirit has led me to post some pretty somber messages on the End Time. i myself have been led into some very somber, and at times scary, revelations concerning End Time events. But in Jesus there is no fear - only Love and Joy.
No matter how bad things get, we know that Jesus will be with us. And when things are completely hopeless he will apear in the clouds in all His glory and with a shout call us home. How Joyful will that day be! To fly up into the air, no longer held down by the weight of this world, thousands, no millions all around us in our common ascent into the clouds. There awaiting us, countless angels and all those who came before out of the grave. And at the center of this ultimate family reunion our Lord, crowned in glory.
1 Cor 15:51-55 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
We will met Jesus in the clouds and our bodies will be like his body, perfect and immortal. No more pain, no more sickness. Perfect health, full of strength and vitality. Not bound by the physical laws of this world, but as Jesus and the angels, able to fly through the air, pass through walls, move from one place to the next at the speed of light. Not as ghosts or spirits, but able to sit and eat, to laugh and embrace, to walk on water or to swim in it. And best of all we will see Jesus face to face and be able to approach the very throne of GOD!
Then we shall reign with Him 1000 years. What glorious things will be done in a thousand years of peace under the perfect Kingship of Jesus and GOD Himself living among us!
1 Cor 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor
ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things
which God hath prepared for them that love him.
