Violence
(Ezek 7:10-12 KJV) Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded. Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them. The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
The events in Colorado are tragic, but the identity of their source is simple. SATAN. As Christians we should proclaim this truth, yet we are quick to fall in with the politically correct crowd and wail, "something must be done". Unfortunately, that 'something' is usually some new government program, some new law. Do we worship the government? Is congress our god? Is our savior found on the psychologist's couch? Then why do we bind ourselves to unbelievers, cast our lot with the fallen?
Stand up !!! You call yourself a warrior, then fight. Put on your armor, draw your sword, stand for the cause of GOD. Why do kids kill kids? Because satan is a murderer. And the world is filled with his violent forces. They rape, steal, and destroy. Their desire is for our youth. They prey on the innocent. This is demonic, pure and simple. Sure these boys were immersed in a violent culture, they played violent games, watched violent films, listened to violent music. But why? DEMONIC INFLUENCE !
This stuff is real. This isn't a game, it is life and death. We walk in a mine field, the earth is a war zone. The forces of the enemy are looking for every opening. Every fork in the road is a potential for disaster. You think these two boys are the only ones being led by demonic forces, WAKE UP ! That guy making money off the albums, the video games, the movie, who's leading him? The teacher that tells the kids there is no god, just "survival of the fittest", and the counselor who tells them "don't listen to your parents' religion, follow what is in your heart", who leads them? We live in a culture drowning in narcissism, and sin. We have churches giving seminars on "inward healing" and "self help". If we can help ourselves, we don't need GOD.
The apostate church is too busy trying to make everyone feel good (and filling the plate) they have lost site of the battle. This is WAR. Satan wants to kill our children, and not only that, he wants to condemn them to Hell. This is a battle for the hearts and minds of a generation. Deep inside they know they are the last generation. They are seeking, searching for something to hold on to. What do they see? Hypocritical, so called christians, filing into an apostate church once a week, to hear a feel good sermon by a hireling. Then those same "christians" spend millions on pornography, violent movies, abortion, fancy cars, and lavish houses. What do they see in Marilyn Manson? Honesty. Pure narcisistic self worship, but he is honest about it. Christians worship themselves too, but they lie and claim to follow Jesus.
Stand up, be true to what you claim to believe. Do we think Jesus is coming soon, then why do we spend more on entertainment than evangelism? Why build a "mega-church" when people are homeless? Why sit in church every week and hear the same old "aren't ya glad you're going to heaven" sermon when children are dying. Get on your knees and throw yourself on GOD's grace (we all need it), then come up swinging with the Sword of the Spirit. We are not going to win any battles on the psychologists couch, or in the politicians office. We must make war on the floor, then take the battle to the streets.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Eph 6:12 KJV) Our fight is for the souls of man, against the demons who would enslave them. Anyone who is not filled with the Holy Spirit of GOD is led by demonic forces. It may not be nice, but it is true. Jesus said "you are either for me or against me". There is no in between. Until they are saved, they are lost, and children of the devil. Patting them on the head and giving them some "spiritual advice" is like putting out a fire with a water gun.
We need to call darkness darkness, and shine our light. "Come out of her my people !" These are the last days, the church age is over. Apostacy reigns. The earth is in the pangs of birth and the enemy seeks to devour our children before they can be born into the Light. PRAY, and walk the walk in honesty. Proclaim who you are, and who your GOD IS. Shine the Light into the darkness, that the works of the enemy are made known.
